Sting 27 is on LIME Mobile TV Channel 11

sting 27 to be broadcast on lime tv
SUNDAY'S 27th staging of Sting, dubbed 'The Greatest One Night Reggae Show on Earth', has been subtitled The Collaboration. While that refers to the spirit of harmony among the performers - former rival deejays Beenie Man and Bounty Killer are among the '13 warriors' and will do a tag-team performance - there will also be a landmark broadcast collaboration.
From the MC's first introduction on Boxing Day through to the last note of the marathon concert at Jamworld, Portmore, St Catherine, on Monday morning, Sting 27 will be broadcast live on LIME Mobile TV. It is a double first - Sting being carried on television in Jamaica as the action unfolds and also the newly launched LIME Mobile TV's first live programming.
At the late November launch of LIME Mobile TV, Jamaica chairman Chris Dehring had promised there would be a Sting broadcast. Stephen Price, LIME's Regional Manager for Special Projects, said that the concert will be shown on LIME Mobile TV's channel 11, reserved for pay-per-view programming. However, viewers will not be required to pay extra, as it is included in the free introductory programming, where $250 call credit provides 200 minutes' talk time and a week's TV access.
