Polls for Tuesday’s general election open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. in New York City. Voters in the city who need information about polling places or about voting should call the Board of Elections voter phone bank, 1-866-VOTE-NYC (1-866-868-3692). Voters can also go to gis.nyc.gov/vote/ps/index.htm to find local polling sites.
New Jersey
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Assistance is available toll free at 1-877-NJ-VOTER (1-877-658-6837). Voters can go to http://www.njelections.org/ to find local polling sites.
